Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is your safe space to explore everything together. Together, we’ll work to support you cultivate healthy habits for a loving relationship. I tailor the pace of our work to ensure you feel comfortable sharing and growing in order to gain the most out of our time together.

Individual Therapy

With the freedom to speak your mind without reservation or judgment, together we’ll explore and process any and all feelings that come up. Our time in session is for you to gain insight through self-exploration, learn, practice evidence-based skills, and become your most authentic self.

My Approach.

Having experienced firsthand the overwhelming effects of panic and anxiety, while maintaining a facade of composure, I realized the importance of breaking the stigma around seeking help and began my journey as a clinician to ensure others did not feel alone in their struggles. After obtaining my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University, I initially ventured into the film industry before realizing my passion for sitting in the therapist's chair. Having worked in a demanding industry and moved through career changes, I gained vital insight of how work-related stress can take a serious toll and make you feel stuck or hopeless. Because of this, you can expect a total commitment in our work to learn coping skills, have a safe space to be vulnerable and reflect so the chaos, and out-of-control feelings can start to lessen. After completing my training to become an LCSW in Houston, Texas, our family returned to the northeast. I am now based in Fairfield County in Connecticut where I offer virtual and in-person sessions

I love being a therapist, and am honored to create a safe and empowering environment for you to explore, express, grow and heal. Whether you are coming in as an individual or couple I am in this with you, and wholeheartedly committed to our time together. I truly believe there is no challenge too big or too small. My extensive training in evidence based practices such as CBT, Psychoanalysis, and DBT informs our work and how to best meet your needs. I do not believe “one-size-fits-all” approach, and draw on each to find the balance that is right to facilitate growth, coping skills and healing. Speaking of things I love, I am a strengths-based and systems-trained therapist, meaning I focus on your capabilities, capacity for positive change, rather than deficits. We will work within the context of your life as whole not in a vacuum meaning, family, school, work, community, all the many facets and relationships that make up who you are and how you came to be.
